We have an Audi Q5 and the tailgate is oddly shaped, ruling out many trunk carrier brands due to their rigid clip shapes. The Tree Hugger includes a very flexible design, which will work with just about any car type. A much more affordable option than installing a tow hitch carrier. It also doesn't require me to lift my bike onto the car, which would be a major challenge for me. Love this design.
I bought this product 1 month ago. I used it on a Lexus IS250.It served me well. Great product!
I have an Audi A7, which is a hatchback. The huggers allow me to use my Saris back rack. They are simple to use, and the rack stays tight. I have recommended these to several people.
Besides being annoying to use.. They don't hold the rack tightly to the car. I have an audi sport wagon and they don't fit between the hatchback part so they have to go inside the car which makes it near impossible to get tightened especially for one person who is also holding the rack up at the same time. The instructions are also the worst so I contacted customer service about the numbers to be used for the saris bones 2 and my car, the info they gave totally didn't work. Hate this bike rack and I her these straps even more.
